Redirect your Domain / Website Print

To redirect your domain name in cPanel, you need to follow the following steps..

1- Step 1: Log in to cPanel

https://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel

2- Step 2: Open the Redirects Tool

• In the cPanel dashboard, scroll to Domains

• Click Redirects

Step 3: Configure the Redirect

Fill the form as follows:

1. Type

   • Choose Permanent (301) (best for SEO)

   • Or Temporary (302) (only if short-term)

2. https?

   • Choose:

     • https://(www.)? → recommended (covers all cases)

3. Domain

   • Select the domain you want to redirect FROM

4. Path

   • Leave empty to redirect the entire domain

   • Example:

     • Leave empty → olddomain.com → newdomain.com

     • /blog → redirect only that folder

5. Redirects to

   • Enter the full destination URL, including protocol

      

     https://newdomain.com

6. www. redirection

   • Choose Redirect with or without www

7. Wild Card Redirect

   • ✅ Check this box if you want:

      

     olddomain.com/anything → newdomain.com/anything
